Nantucket Airport Commission unanimously backed Option B, a permanent terminal addition, and began pushing a $2 to $3 million fuel farm expansion toward this spring's town meeting. Commissioners Levitt and Marks presented fuel subcommittee findings recommending four new double-walled storage tanks to bring capacity to roughly 72,000 gallons, with an authorization target of up to $3 million drawn from the approximately $4.8 million fuel revolver. The commission also approved a $165,000 emergency fence contract with LNC Company and a $122,220 Tradewind Aviation lease, while tabling a disputed Airport Gas sublease after commissioners flagged that the tenant was capturing six years of market rent appreciation the airport is not sharing.
